Antiseen’s Jeff Clayton memorialized with bobblehead

Jeff Clayton, frontman of the tenacious Charlotte punk band Antiseen, has been honored with a wobbly-armed caricature, cast in resin by Aggronautix. Clayton’s likeness joins a veritable hall-of-fame of “Throbbleheads,” which also includes Antiseen collaborator G.G. Allin, The Plasmatics’ Wendy O. Williams, The Meatmen’s Tesco Vee, members of The Dwarves, Circle Jerks/OFF! frontman Keith Morris, J. Mascis, and plenty of other cult figur(in)es.

Here’s a brief description of the Jeff Clayton Throbblehead, from the makers.

“This figure capturing Jeff in Destructo mode is limited to 500 numbered units, stands at 7 inches tall, and is made of polyresin. While it’s labeled a Throbblehead, it’s actually Jeff’s arm that does all the movement, punishing everything in sight with his signature barbed-wire bat.

Get out the way as Jeff stands ready to rock your fucking face off. He’s accurately sculpted right down to the flannel shirt, gridly [sic] hair, and well-traveled forehead.”
