Band of Horses joins Willie Nelson, John C. Reilly on Railroad Revival Tour

Band of Horses recently announced that they’re joining the second annual Railroad Revival lineup this fall. Supporting the release of their new album Mirage Rock – out Sept. 18 – the Charleston-based quintet will accompany Willie Nelson, John C. Reilly and Jamey Johnson in traversing America via “16 vintage, 1940s railcars,” playing at ad-hoc venues near train stations between Oct. 20 and 28. Though that tour isn’t stopping in the Carolinas, Band of Horses will play two N.C. shows with likeminded indie-arena-rockers My Morning Jacket in August. —Sam Baltes
