Of all the bands that are part of Columbia label/collective Post-Echo, the catchiest and most accessible is a post-rock outfit that put out its first EP little more than a year ago. Pan, a four-piece that sounds like an army, has grown swiftly over the last year, refining the powerful hooks of 2011′s Post Rock Isn’t Dead with this year’s full-length debut, These Are The Things I Love, and I Want to Share Them With You. A great example of that album’s exceptional mix of big guitars and bigger crescendos is the slow-building “Leave Your Body.” In this well-captured live performance the song’s stunning build is even more impressive, forcing you to focus on the opening guitar drone as it builds into a triumph of vaulted melody. –Jordan Lawrence
